Tour Program (11 nights/12 days)
Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! SJO - Alajuela
Private transportation will be provided from the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) to your hotel in the Alajuela mountains. Alajuela offers beautiful views of the Central Valley and nice warm weather year round. Night in Alajuela.
Day 2: Alajuela - Monteverde
After breakfast, private transportation will be provided to Monteverde. Monteverde offers amazing sights of the cloud forest, varieties of rare plants and orchids, birds, insects and mammals. Check in at your hotel. Night in Monteverde.
Day 3: Monteverde
After breakfast, begin your all day tour adventure to the Canopy tour and the Hanging Bridges. This safe and guided tour provides a unique vantage point of the cloud forest that was once reserved only for birds and scientists. Kids can also enjoy a visit to the Butterfly Garden, the Sloth Sanctuary and the Reptile exhibition. Night in Monteverde.
Day 4: Monteverde
On this day you will visit a small family owned coffee and chocolate plantation. You will learn about the process from the seed to the delicious final product and will have the opportunity to taste several types of chocolate and coffee. Night in Monteverde.
Day 5: Monteverde - La Fortuna
After breakfast, private transportation will be provided to La Fortuna. La Fortuna is one of the most popular destinations in Costa Rica, offering a lot of attractions and activities that combine nature and adventure around the famous Arenal Volcano. Night in La Fortuna.
Day 6 - La Fortuna
On this day you and your family will enjoy a Jungle Safari Float tour on the Sarapiqui River, a two-hour fun adventure in search of wildlife! After the tour, return to your hotel. Night at La Fortuna.
Day 7: La Fortuna - Golfo de Papagayo
Private transportation will be provided to the Papagayo Gulf in Guanacaste. Stunning views and beautiful beaches great for swimming are among the features that make the Papagayo Gulf a very desirable destination for families. Check in at your hotel. Night in Papagayo.
Day 8 - 11 - Papagayo
