Guest accommodations at the Mawamba Lodge consist of 36 comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, hot water, ceiling fans and chairs for a pleasant, relaxing evening. Activities and tours at the Mawamba Lodge include taking a boat ride through the Tortuguero Canals, a navigable network of lakes and canals that offer visitors some of Costa Rica’s most stunning variety of plant, animal and marine life. Other activities are excursions to Tortuguero National Park, the town center and the Caribbean Conservation Corporation (CCC). From July to September, night tours take visitors to search for nesting Green Turtles
